Katrina from Grammy nominated band Katrina & The Waves, who had the massive 80s hit Walking on Sunshine, which has been used in many films including, American Psycho, Look Who’s Talking & High Fidelity, is back with a NEW ALBUM for 2020 and will be performing at Wokingham Music Club on Friday 27th March 2020
Katrina & The Waves had their first break in 1984 when The Bangles covered their song ‘Going Down to Liverpool’. It led to an international deal with Capitol Records with ‘Walking on Sunshine” earning top ten spots around the globe and to this day, is still one of the most played summertime tracks on radio.
Their follow up single, ‘Do You Want Crying’ was a top 40 hit in the US and ‘Sun Street’ was a UK Top 30 hit in 1986. ‘That’s the Way’ which reached No. 16 in 1989 in the US charts. In 1997 Katrina & The Waves’ ‘Love Shine a Light’ won the Eurovision Song Contest with the largest ever margin, followed by an unprecedented four consecutive appearances on Top of The Pops and a No. 3 in the UK Charts.
Katrina packs a powerful vocal performance and performs a lively and entertaining set of Katrina & The Waves hits and some exclusive new material.

Sascha Osborn is a London, UK based, emerging singer songwriter who blends her cocktail of influences, seamlessly dancing between the ‘folk’ and ‘jazz’ worlds utilising these flavours and colours to express tender reflective songs about hope, loss and love. Her debut album ‘Looking Out And After’ has received airplay on BBC Radio 6 Music, BBC Radio Scotland, BBC Radio Suffolk and extremely positive acclaim. Currently working on new releases and touring in the UK playing venues and festivals as a solo artist with acoustic guitar or as a duo with Andy Hamill on double/electric bass and harmonica.
